Sri Lankan Delegation Impressed With Progressive Education At RAEC.
A team of 12 Education Ministry officials and school Principals from Sri Lanka, accompanied by 2 representatives from UNICEF Maldives and 2 staff members from CCE, visited Meedhoo on the 18th and 19th July to observe a Maldivian Child Friendly School.
As well as observing CFS classes, delegates were shown around the school and the island by students and participated in information sessions with staff and parents. The Sri Lankan delegates were impressed with the implementation of child friendly teaching and learning and will use the experience to help improve teaching in Sri Lanka.
